December Author Spotlight, New Weekly Rec, & December Fics of the Month

Okay everyone, I know the blog was fairly silent during November, so sorry for that, but RL had a chance to rear its ugly head, and so us admins had been kept quite busy for a while. We're happy to say though, that we are back and ready to go for December, and have a few announcements as well.

First off....December Fics of the Month...

We will be beginning our Fics of the Month this month. The first few days of the month, the poll will be up on the left hand side of the blog home page. You may vote for up to 3 fics that are up for fic of the month. This months poll closes on December 5th. We will announce the December Fics of the Month on the 6th, so make sure you vote while you can.


Secondly....Weekly Recs....

We have a new weekly rec up on that section of the blog. Be sure to go check it out, and Be sure to submit the fics you wanna see rec'd on the blog by filling out the weekly rec form. We'd love to hear from you all about what you're reading and think everyone else should be reading too.


Thirdly....December Author Spotlight...

This month's author spotlight has been posted, be sure to head over to the Author Spotlight section of the blog to check out the interview with this month's author. Also, if you have an author you think deserves to be featured on the blog, make sure you fill out the form to nominate them for Author Spotlight.

Since today is Halloween, we thought we'd push back our weekly rec's to tomorrow, and today post a rec for a story that is fitting to the holiday.

Thought this would be perfect to rec as Halloween is here.  Did you ever consider that the reason Jack the Ripper was never caught was because he was a vampire?  No?  Well, HeartOfDarkess did and this is the result.  This is just one of many surprises waiting to be revealed in this spooky tale.  This story was originally supposed to be a oneshot, purchased in the Junkin' for Joplin auction to support the victims of the Joplin tornado.  However, she just had too many great ideas to contain them in a one shot and chose to expand it into a full story. A story of survival, love and the war between hunted and hunter.  Only time will tell who is the hunter though.  She updates roughly every two weeks and this has not gotten nearly the love it deserves.  Please go read and review...you will NOT be disappointed!
