This week, we have one fic rec submitted by a reader, and a few quick recs of our own to add as well. First up, is our reader submitted rec:
Title: Don't You Remember

Rec: This is by BellaClary, and let me tell you..she loves angst! I love it as well which is why I am so incredibly taken by this fic! It has Bella getting married to Mike in two days and Edward showing up on the night of their rehearsal dinner. CHAOS ensues!!! There is so much longing and lust in Edward and Bella's conversations and touches and yet you are told there was a reason that it didnt work out. There is a reason that Edward LEFT Bella way back when! What is it you might ask!? Tell me, tell me?! She doesnt tell you until the 12th chapter and it is definitely worth the wait. It is nothing like you expected, I've noticed so many twists and turns in this short fic and I just love it. The emotions are palpable and the story is relate able. Mike is also the biggest asshole in the entire world and that always helps ;) Please check out this fic!

This fic is so many different kinds of awesome I don't know where to start. Jesus is a chick, Edward is the anti-Christ, and God is sporting a fuck-awesome 'stache.... It's totally different from anything else I've read, so if you have an open mind and are looking for something great to read, I highly suggest giving this one a shot.
If Ever You Come Back by BlueSkies81
This is the first fic for this author. It was inspired by The Script's song If Ever You Come Back. It's a wonderful little one shot that absolutely just melted my heart. It's told in EPOV, and BlueSkies81 just added in a second chapter from Bella's POV. Be sure to give this one a look and leave some love for the author!

Snowbound by Edward's Eternal
This fic is relatively new, but it's absolutely to die for. Edward comes off a little abrasive at first, but as soon as Bella enters the picture his caring, nurturing side comes out. It is beautifully written and you'll be wanting to steal Bear and bring him home with you. Each chapter offers you some answers, but also will leave you dying for more as more questions are raised. This fic has quickly become one of my favorites and I find myself looking forward to Mondays and Thursdays because of it. Be sure to check it out, you'll be glad you did.
Past Her Prime by XquisiteProdigy
This drabble is absolutely hilarious and will have you pissing your pants as you read about a Very Olderward, lovingly dubbed AARPward and his attempts at gaining the attention of his neighbor across the street. Things aren't all they seem to be though, and a few lingering questions will leave you dying for more. This fic is without a doubt one of the funniest stories I've read in a while, so be sure to check it out. After all...who doesn't need a good laugh every once in a while.

This fic currently OWNS me! It's Batteredward at his best! Kyla does an amazing job of sucking you in. The emotions and struggle that come with being in an abusive relationship are beautifully translated and leaves you breathless and in serious need of a tissue.
Edward is in a severly abusive relationship and feels there's no way out for him, so he's simply accepted that's it for him. Thanks to Bella's caring nature, patience and determination, she literally rescues him and shows him a whole new way of life.
This fic is inspirational, and at times, will keep you on the edge of your seat! It updates regularly as well! Please, show this fic the respect and admiration it deserves and go chcek it out! You won't be disappointed!

It's completely different, It starts off with Bella telling her past to the pack. We see what happened from the time she was married, her abusive husband, her children and then hopefully from there till her meeting the love of her life again Jasper. It's addictive to read and it makes me think about what would happen next!
I can always picture flashes of the story thats being told or feel the emotion at the time. I'm patiently waiting untill she gets to her time with Jasper and what happens! But for now i would love to read and see the rest of her story!

Okay, this story is amazing. I mean it pulls at your heart strings, it holds your attention, and takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions.
It starts out with Edward and Bella as best friends and they kind of have this weird/fucked up friends with benefits thing going on. And most of the story is set from when they are in college. Bella finally wants to make a move on him, she's been harboring serious feelings for him for the past two years, even though they have been fucking around a lot longer. And while they've been fwb, they've never had actual sex. Edward has iron clad rules about all of their activities and he's always stuck to them even after all these years. Bella doesn't like them and it makes her feel cold and disconnected. Her birthday is coming up and she wants one gift from him... For him to take her virginity.
And that's only just the first few chapters. Midnightlove87 takes you on a whole ride beyond just the issue of sex between friends and what not. I don't want to give too much away, but the story has some amazing twists and turns. And it's not all just about E/B. Emmett gets some great play time too, dealing with real life issues.
I think that's what I love about this story so much is that it is very realistic.
The Blackened Flame by Catastrophia

This is truly one of the best stories I have read in a while. While written as a drabble, Catastrophia has managed to fill each chapter with an amazing depth of emotion and makes you feel as though you're going through everything with the characters from the agonizing heartbreak of what led them to where they are at the beginning, to where the characters find themselves at the end. Now complete, this story had me on the edge of my seat as I waited for each chapter to update, and while I loved the ending, I was quite sad to have to let these characters go. Make sure you check this story out, and bring some tissues with you when you do!
An Italian Winter by Raum

I am a pre reader for this fic and I have seeen it develop and grow till it became totally compelling. This dark and bitter Edward will stay with you and the Italian setting is extremely original.
Summary: His rebellion began for a reason; it still holds true and brought him to Italy. His life's been predicated on revenge for decades; forgiveness seems impossible. When Edward meets Bella, only a winter separates him from his last prey & his own destruction.

The Selkie Wife by Lissa Bryan

Edward has lost his wife to child brith and his daughter is left without a mother. One day while walking along the beach he spots a group of selkies which he did not even know exist. Bella happens to be a selkie and he captures her to raise his daughter. He promises he will let her go, but will he really? Afterall Edward has fallen in love with this intriguing selkie who is nothing but kind and sweet at heart. Best of all is the author Lissa Bryan updates nearly every day!! What could be better than that? She is fantastic and has creative twists and turns that leave you wanting more.
Kyla also has three rec's for us this time around...
The first is "This Old House" by TrueEnglishRose. It's currently 5 chapters in and I bounce up and down everytime I see an update, which is pretty regular. This is a Slash fic with Jasper and Edward. Jasper is older and Edward is a much younger man with a traumatic past. We haven't gotten to what exactly happened to him yet, but the build up is awesome. I am already considering this one of my fav slash fics just because I'm in love with Jasper already. Check it out.
The second rec I have is "Dirty Laundry in My Diary" from new author, Ttharman. It's currently 5 chapters in and so perplexing as we follow Bella on her journey as a new student being mislead by a bunch of misfits. It's got comedy and a drama and will suck you right in. Show this new author some love!!!
The last rec I have is also by a new author, "Crash & Burn" by TwiStar Junkie. This one is only 4 chapters in and I'm dying for more already....Bella is a recovering addict who moves back to Forks to find something that she never expected from the Cullens. Edward is the blacksheep of the family.....and it's going to be up to Bella to save him....oh so good...and we haven't even met Edward in the fic yet!!!! check it out!!!

A sweet story that will just totally capture your heart. Written in BPOV. Its a great read and is an amazing job by a first time author. Make sure you go and give this one a read, you'll be happy you did!

I was looking for a sexy l'il something to read for the holidays and stumbled upon this little gem on a Facebook group...I have to say I was nicely surprised at the message the author conveyed through every laugh, lemon and act the characters made throughout this journey...It's not everyday that you have someone point out in such an insightful way what we all miss throughout the year...Christmas isn't about gifts or spending on the latest gadget...No, its about being thankful what you have and passing those blessings along! This story completely made my day and reminded me of the important things in life...A definite must read!

I was looking for something Christmas-y to read to get me into the holiday mood today, and came across this drabble. It's eleven chapters in and and adorable as hell so far. I'm already finding myself dying for the next update to post. The story is told in Bella's POV. In the story, Bella has had the year from hell and is now taking her two year old neice to see Santa, an action which, from what the summary suggests, may just help her have a Happy New Year. Go and read this one folks, you're sure to enjoy it!

I recently found this story through a reader of mine, (Bammers) that claimed it was a must read. i devoured all ten chapters in a matter of two hours. I was left begging and pleading for more. Edward in this time piece is the King of England and married to a Tanya, not always seen in fics... Here she has a good heart and is cast aside by the king, because of her failure, to produce an heir. Bella who was a lady in waiting, is chosen over all other maidens, to marry the king. She is torn between her feelings of loyalty to the only woman to ever show her kindness, and the love she's developing for her new husband. This story is filled with angst and moments where your heart will bleed for these amazing women. Please give this amazing author some love and check out this outstanding story...you may even find yourself rooting for Tanya as did I.

I stumbled across this about a year ago, the summary just drew me in and I am so glad it did. Bella is in an abusive relationship she is trying to get out but of course Bella being Bella doesn't want anyone else to suffer. Her best friend is also her boyfriend's friend, so Edward hears and sees all that James does to her. You can tell from the get go that Edward truly cares for her as Bella does for him. Just when she has balls enough to tell James she is leaving she finds out she is pregnant and it goes from there. TwiStar, takes you on a journey of Bella's feelings and fears for herself and her unborn child. It is amazing, she is slow to update but so makes it worth the while when she does. I love this story and so want to see Edward & Bella get their HEA that they both deserve, but every time they get close James somehow comes back to drive a wedge in their life once again. Leave her some love, this story so deserves some, she is amazing.

I loved this one shot since the first time I read it. I thought it was creative and something I personally hadn't seen done before, so originality takes the cake home too. I have to admit that I wish it was a multi-chapter story, simply because I'd love to see more of it, but it's also perfect to stand on its own, too. Definitely won't regret reading this.

This little ditty comes to us just in time for Halloween. It seriously has everything needed to scare and creep you out. Texasbella brings us the story of a couple who's daughter is still born at birth. Edward is impacted greatly by this and goes bananas... His claim to all his actions is that he's a doctor and knows what he's doing... It's written in drabble style and is sure to keep you chewing your nails with each short and well written chapter. This should become complete soon as she has it all written out and gives us various doses throughout the day. So peeps run and read and give Insaneward some love.

This is a great completed story that ended last December. Edward and Bella are in love and through no fault of their own, but the evil Carlisle, they are torn apart. This story has twists and turns and will keep you on the edge of your seat during the action chapters near the end. You will be on a rollercoaster of emotions, there is angst, romance, hurt and happiness. You will deplore Carlisle but will love the rest of the gang. Edward, Emmett and Jasper are in a band, if that helps turn you on a little;) Check out this fantastic story and tell her theonlykyla sent you!

This is one of the most unique stories I have found in a while. It's a slash fic with a hybrid Edward who is half werewolf, half vampire. When I read the summary: Half breed Edward Masen has never been accepted into his werewolf clan. When he "comes of age" within the pack he is cast out and goes in search of the vampire father he's never met and who doesn't know about the child he fathered. I was instantly hooked. The more you read the more you'll find yourself lost in the awesome world that the author has created. Be sure to give this one a read, and let her know that lvtwilight09 sent you :-)
